Celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month

O Som Do Jazz

In honor of Jazz Appreciation Month, St. Petersburg College and the Friends of the Library will host 'Jazz in the Stacks', a free concert featuring O Som Do Jazz, on Wednesday April 11, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. at the West St. Petersburg Community Library located at 750 66th Street North in St. Petersburg.

O Som Do Jazz recaptures the grace, energy and spirit of 1960s Brazilian Bossa Nova & samba-jazz. Imagine Brazilian musicians in love with American jazz playing in Rio de Janeiro night clubs circa 1965 - and you get an idea of what O Som Do Jazz is about.
