Clearwater Campus Welcomes New Librarian

On Monday, June 5, the Clearwater campus library welcomed a new librarian, Jorge Perez. Jorge previously worked as a librarian at Brewster Technical Center, MacDill Air Force Base, and the NOAA Regional Library. He graduated from Miami Dade College and received his undergraduate degree from Florida International University in Fine Arts/ Art History. He received a graduate degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida in 2004. Welcome, Jorge!

U.S. Presidential Speeches in Full-text and Audio.

The Miller Center of Public Affairs Scripps Library & Multimedia Archive, with cooperation from several presidential libraries, are providing full-text transcripts as well as full audio of United States presidential speeches. Franklin D. Roosevelt's "Fireside chats" remind me of today's podcasts.
