Chat Reference
As a member of the Statewide Chat Reference project, the M.M. Bennett Library offers SPC students, faculty, and staff the option of clicking on the Ask-A-Librarian icon found on the Library Online web page (http://www.spcollege.edu/central/libonline/) to connect to a librarian on duty for reference help Monday through Friday from 10 A.M. until 10 P.M. Saturday and Sunday hours are from 10 AM until 5 P.M. Librarians from around the state staff the Statewide Chat Reference Desk; however, during the SPC academic session this summer, SPC librarians will be covering the Chat Reference Desk during the hours of 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. and 1-3 P.M Mon.-Fri.
In addition, by clicking on AskALibrarian on the Library Online, an SPC patron can choose an email form to send a reference question to an SPC librarian. Please visit the library or try the Chat Reference Service when you need reference help!
