EBSCOhost Customers and CCLA Members

Are you aware that with your current subscription to Academic Search Premier, users have complimentary access to MAS Ultra School Edition, Primary Search, as well as the Military & Government Collection? Please find listed below a brief description for each database that will assist you in providing this information to your users.

MAS Ultra- School Edition: This full text general reference database is designed for secondary school students and those interested in secondary education. This database can be accessed by two different interfaces; EBSCOhost or the Student Research Center.

Military & Government Collection: This full text collection offers more than 350 full text journals covering current news for all branches of the military and government. Many of these titles are available in their native PDF and often in color. This collection can be accessed via EBSCOhost.

Primary Search: This is the largest full text general reference database designed for elementary students as well as those interested in elementary education. This reference collection can be accessed via one of three different platforms; Kid’s Search, Searchasaurus or EBSCOhost

Also, your library has free access to the Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA) database. LISTA has been added to your EBSCOhost profile by CCLA. This world-class bibliographic database provides coverage on subjects such as librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. Delivered via the EBSCOhost platform, LISTA indexes more than 600 periodicals plus books, research reports, and proceedings.

Lastly, please remember that those libraries who subscribe to American Humanities Index were recently upgraded to the Humanities International Index, at no additional charge. This bibliographic index provides international content and coverage of over 1,900 titles with a focus on literary, scholarly and creative thought.
