Stories for a Hurried Generation: Introducing Flash Fiction.

Most everyone appreciates reading a good book, with actual pages, while relaxing in a favorite chair. However, there are times when the clock seems to be moving in fast-forward and finding a special moment to read some fiction may prove to be difficult. On those hectic days, try Flash Fiction. Flash Fiction is a “short form of storytelling” and can be just as marvelous as a Proustian passage (i.e. Marcel Proust).

Jason Gurley wrote an article about Flash Fiction and it can be found here. One last note: there are publications, both online and in print, who accept Flash Fiction submissions. Vestal Review is one example.

Enjoy!
