Library Database Updates!

Thomson Gale is proud to announce the full-text license of the The Chronicle of Higher Education and The Chronicle of Philanthropy for the InfoTrac suite of products, including Expanded Academic ASAP and InfoTrac OneFile. The Chronicle of Higher Education is the world's top source of news and information for college and university faculty members and administrators. It also serves as a great resource for teachers and professionals conducting research on pedagogy. The Chronicle, published weekly in print, will be made available in full-text with a seven year backfile. The content will be fully subject indexed.

The Chronicle of Philanthropy is published biweekly in print. It is considered the premier newspaper of the nonprofit world. It is a great resource for charity leaders, fund raisers, grant makers, and other people involved in the philanthropic enterprise.

These two premier titles make a great addition to InfoTrac. Both of these titles are part of a long list of academic titles added to the databases this year. So far in 2006, more than 400 full-text, peer-reviewed periodicals were added to the databases. This makes InfoTrac the largest collection of full-text, peer-reviewed content with no embargoes.

With 17,000 periodicals, of which nearly 10,000 are peer-reviewed sources, InfoTrac is the ultimate research resource.

Full-text for these titles will appear on product soon. Please stay tuned as we announce the addition of many more premier academic titles.
