Tuesday November 7, 2006 is Election Day!

In 1845, according to the World Book Encyclopedia, the U.S. Congress established the “first Tuesday after the first Monday in November as Election Day.” Election Day is Tuesday November 7, 2006. Below are just 3 resources to help with your voting decisions:

2. Project Vote Smart (http://www.vote-smart.org/index.htm) provides “extensive nonpartisan information on elected officials' voting records and candidates' positions.”

3. Vote Smart Florida (http://www.votesmartflorida.org) is offering a free nonpartisan voter guide to the proposed constitutional amendments among many other voting resources.
