After looking through the SPC Blog list I was drawn back to "The Cat in the Hat". The information about the author was very interesting, but the real reason I chose to comment could be called nostalgia.
A very old, copy of "The Cat in the Hat" still has a place on a bookshelf in my home. It was read to and by my children and grandchildren many times.
The book is tattered and dirty and it has been suggested that I throw it away, but whenever I see it I am reminded of all the laughter and good times we had with all of Dr. Suess' books.
I also love the Dr. Seuss books and now I get to share these wonderful books with my new baby girl. :)
