Watch Johnny Lee demo his amazing Wii Remote hacks, which transform the $40 game piece into a digital whiteboard, a touchscreen and a head-mounted 3-D viewer. A multi-ovation demo from TED2008.
This is truly amazing!

That is awesome. I like the motion sensing application for semi-3D applications. I remember seeing an arcade game a few years back that used a similar technique. It was a first-person shooter and when you stood in the designated area it sensed general movements and reacted by moving the player's perspective accordingly. The glasses expand this even better because it receives not only general position but it can determine your visual perspective in relation to the screen. Not only an awesome concept, but relatively inexpensive to implement.
