In honor of Jazz Appreciation Month, St. Petersburg College will host Jazz in the Stacks,
a free concert featuring O Som Do Jazz, on April 4, 2013, at 7:00 p.m.
at its West St. Petersburg Community Library,
750 66th Street North, St. Petersburg.
O Som Do Jazz recaptures the spirit of 1960-80s
Brazilian Bossa Nova, samba-jazz and Música Popular Brasileira (MPB).
Based in St. Petersburg, Florida, the band features Rio de Janeiro
singer Andrea Moraes Manson and musicians experienced
in Brazilian music.
